SUFICA involves four field surveys – two before and two after the experimental management changes. The second surveys began in September, to catch the 2019 dry season. Andres has been out surveying birds, mammals and reptiles. Liam has set up pollinator exclusion experiments on mango. In November, Eduardo, Nadia, Vinina and Patricia will work together to collect soil and insect samples from all our fields and caatinga plots. Pictures by Nadia Rojas.
