Eduardo Arellano

Project Leader (Chile)

Eduardo Arellano is an associate Professor at PUC in Santiago, Chile and a joint researcher at the Center of Applied Ecology and Sustainability (CAPES). His research is focused on ecological restoration and the measurement of soil functions in different agriculture and forestry systems; plant and soil interactions; soil organic matter and carbon sequestration, metals in soil-plant system, and early reforestation development.  He received his BSc in forest engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, my M.Sc. in Forest Science at Oregon State University and my Ph.D in Forest Biology at Virginia Tech, USA.
