Fabiana Oliveira da Silva is a Research Fellow at the University of Sergipe in Brazil, funded by the Federal Government. She is an applied ecologist, focused on crop yield benefits of biodiversity and ecosystem services in agroecosystems; and participatory actions to enhance science literacy and knowledge about wild pollinator conservation and ecological intensification in semi-arid region. She co-ordinates the project on epistemology and ethics and on pollination services in agro-ecosystems in the National Institute of Science and Technology in Interdisciplinary and Transdisciplinary Studies in Ecology and Evolution since 2016 (INCT IN-TREE; National Research Council – CNPq n0: 465767/2014-1).
