SUFICA team visits BioAgri project in Chile
On Tuesday 2nd October 2018, the SUFICA researchers visited two demonstration farms in the project “Integración de la biodiversidad a la producción frutícola regional de O´Higgins”, led by Dr Eduardo Arellano. We saw plantings of native flora and very busy nest boxes in use by Chilean swallows. This is a key partner project for SUFICA, and its producers form part of our international network.
The BioAgri project has produced a series of beautiful posters to illustrate the values of biodiversity on intensive fruit farms (an example on the left here). These will be our inspiration for materials we hope to produce in SUFICA.
